Experience

As a tutor, I always try to find a way to relate the subject we are learning to my student's life. I believe that way it will be not only more meaningful, but the student will be able to retain their knowledge better, because they will have something to connect it to. I also try to lead students with questions, because I feel this offers a lot of positive reinforcement. Once students can answer a question, they will be willing to try harder. I have tutored for awhile, and teaching is second nature to me.I offer tutoring in Algebra 1-2, Arithmetic, Calculus 1, Competition Math, Geometry, Precalculus, Trigonometry, Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Organic Chemistry, Math, Science, Analytical Chemistry, and Biochemistry.I graduated form Benedictine College, as well as the University of Kansas. I hold B.S. degrees in Chemistry and Biochemistry.In my free time, I play sports, including soccer, and love to go golfing and fishing.
